What you’ll find here

My Mama Mode is a motherhood blog written by one mom, from the middle of the mess — funny where it can be, tender where it counts, and honest about the parts nobody warns you about.

Who’s writing this

I’m Annie Bravo Vanzella — boy mom to a spirited 4-year-old who wears camo every single day and would eat sushi for every meal. I write about pregnancy, the newborn fog, the big-kid years, and the gear that’s genuinely worth your nap time. Everything here comes from my own life: no ghostwriters, no highlight reel, no pretending I have it figured out.

Questions, answered

August 2026. Join the list above and you’ll get the first post the day it goes live — plus a free printable for surviving big toddler feelings.
What kind of blog is this?
An honest US motherhood and parenting blog covering pregnancy, newborns, toddlers and big kids, family life, from-scratch family recipes, and genuinely honest baby and kid product reviews.
Who writes it?
Annie Bravo Vanzella — one mom, writing from her own experience. Not a doctor, not a parenting expert; nothing here is medical advice.
How often will you email me?
About once a week, on Sunday morning, with that week’s posts. You can unsubscribe in one click, any time, and your email is never sold or shared.
Are the product reviews sponsored?
Reviews are based on gear actually used in our house. Some links may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you, and that never changes whether something gets recommended — the cons always get published too.
